Lets forget about the goth thing for a minute.. You said your mom told you that can't wear dark clothes? I really hope you live in a place where there is no real winter, because people tend to wear darker colors during those months.. I kind of find it hard to believe that your mom would make you wear summery clothes if it was freezing out..





Don't worry about nail polish.. Black polish is typical, but its not all goths wear.. There are plenty of funky colors out there.. There are even really pretty dark red shades that I'm sure your mom wouldn't have a problem with.. but anyways just wear like bright neon colors like yellow, green, and hot pink, or white. Just because your goth doesnt mean wearing all black is cool. my goth friends wear nail polish like that so yea..

You should ask your mom. Tell her that that is your personality, and she can not change you the way you are. Tell her nicely and make her understand.
goth looks stupid anyway. find your own style, your obviously just after choosing goth and now your trying to change, your mum just wants you to be yourself rather than some idiot who thinks...hm...i think ill be a goth this month
