It really depends on your skin color, the season and what you're wearing.





For skin color, Sally Hansen has a really cool nail polish tester based on your skin color (http://www.sallyhansen.com/learn_nail-se鈥?/a> Right now it's spring, so a lot of spring-y colors such as bright red and light pink. Towards the fall/winter, deep reds, dark blues and black is more in style.





And if your wearing a flowery dress with bright colors, don't put on black nail polish. Wear coral or something similar to the colors of the dress.





Sometimes, though, you can wear a brightly colored nail polish with dark clothes, to contrast with the black. Unless you are going for a punkish look, I wouldn't suggest neon pink and green, but rather electric blue and red.

Yellow. green, teal, neon pink, purple (not dark but not to light), coral. Just lots of fun summery colors.
